Meego Icon Pack is a set of two apps for Android: Meeye and Meeyo. Both apps change how your app icons look. Instead of your normal round or square icons, you get icons in a special rounded-square shape called a "squircle." This shape comes from the Nokia N9 phone, which used an old operating system called MeeGo.
Nokia only used MeeGo on one phone before the project was dropped. But many people still love that clean, simple look. A developer named YeyeBBC built Meeye and Meeyo to bring that same style back to modern Android phones, with more than 5,000 icons.
People often ask which one to pick. Here is the simple answer.
| Feature | Meeye | Meeyo |
|---|---|---|
| Style | Classic, with soft shading | Flat, modern, simple colors |
| Best for | People who liked the original Nokia N9 look | People who want a clean, minimal look |
| Price | Paid (small one-time fee) | Free |
| Typical file size | Around 84 MB | Around 17 MB |
| Icon count | 5,000+ icons | 1,300+ icons |
If you are not sure, start with Meeyo since it is free. You can always try Meeye later if you want the classic look.

This is important, so please read it. Both Meeye and Meeyo were removed or are being removed from the Google Play Store. This happened because of a new Google policy that asks developers to share their legal name and home address in public. The developer did not want to do this, so the apps are no longer sold through Play Store in the normal way.
This does not mean the apps are unsafe. It means you may need to download the file (an APK) from outside the Play Store instead. Because of this, it is extra important to download only from a source you trust, and to check the file before you install it. We explain how to do that later in this guide.
Rounded-square icons based on the original Nokia N9 design.
Every icon is made at 192x192 px, so it looks sharp on modern screens.
Comes with wallpapers that match the icon style.
A built-in dashboard lets you search for a specific app's icon.
If an app icon is missing, you can send a request to add it.
Apps that don't have a matching icon still get reshaped into the squircle style automatically.
An icon pack cannot change your icons by itself. You also need an Android "launcher" app, which controls how your home screen looks. Meeye and Meeyo work with these launchers:
The most popular choice. Full support for custom icon packs and icon masking.
Good icon pack support and simple settings menu.
One of the original launchers with icon pack support, still works well today.
Lightweight option with icon theme support.
If your launcher is not on this list, check its settings menu for an option called "Icon Pack" or "Icon Theme." Most modern launchers that support icon packs will work fine, even if we have not tested every single one.
A lot of people install the APK and then wonder why nothing changed. This is normal. Installing the app is only step one. The icons will not change until you also select the icon pack inside your launcher's settings.
The simple path is: Launcher app → Settings → Icon Pack (or Theme) → choose Meeye or Meeyo → Apply.
Squircle icons can sometimes look small or large depending on your launcher's default grid settings. Most launchers let you adjust:
There is no single "correct" size for every phone. Screen size and launcher both affect how icons look, so we recommend trying a few sizes and picking whichever looks cleanest on your device, instead of copying one fixed number from a guide.
This almost always means the icon pack was installed but never selected inside the launcher. Go back into your launcher's settings and apply Meeye or Meeyo from the Icon Pack menu.
Your launcher may not support third-party icon packs. Check if your launcher has this feature, or try switching to Nova Launcher, which is known to support it well.
Not every single app is manually designed yet. Turn on "icon masking" in your launcher settings, which forces unmatched icons into the squircle shape automatically.
Check that "Install unknown apps" is turned on for your browser or file manager, and make sure you are not trying to install an older APK over a newer version without first uninstalling it.
Open your launcher's Home Screen settings and adjust the icon size slider. This is a launcher setting, not something the icon pack controls directly.
This is rare, but usually means the launcher was reset or is not set as your default launcher. Confirm your chosen launcher is set as default under Android Settings → Apps → Default Apps → Home App.
With over 5,000 apps already covered, most popular apps already have a matching icon. If one of your apps is still missing:
Both Meeye and Meeyo come with a set of matching wallpapers. These are designed to work well with the squircle icon style, using dark backgrounds, soft gradients, and simple colors so your icons stand out clearly on the home screen.
Before you uninstall, switch your launcher back to the default icon pack first. This stops your home screen from showing broken or missing icons after the app is removed.
We have not run our own virus scan on a hosted copy of this file, so we will not claim a specific scan result here — we would rather be honest than copy a number we cannot personally confirm. Instead, here is how you can check the file yourself before installing it:
com.yeyebbc.play.meeye.iconpack for Meeye, com.yeyebbc.play.meeye.isflat for Meeyo).| App | Recent Version | What Changed |
|---|---|---|
| Meeye | E-10.0.2 | New icons added, some existing icons redesigned, missing icons fixed. |
| Meeyo | O-6.6 / O-6.8 | New icons added, some redesigns, missing icon fixes. |
The developer updates these apps from time to time. This table will be refreshed whenever a new version is confirmed.
Download Meeye or Meeyo and bring the classic Nokia N9 squircle style back to your Android home screen.
